The Fernandina Beach Dive Club typically meets on the 2nd Friday of each month, 6 pm, at Scuba Station, 1401 Park Ave. Suite B, Fernandina Beach, Florida. Any changes in the meeting schedule will be reflected on Scuba Station’s website calendar. Although independent of any other entity, the Club receives support from the local dive shop and other organizations. In return, club members provide suggestions for future dive travel and other diving related opportunities, merchandise, etc. Club members in turn may receive travel and merchandise discounts on travel and purchases. Club membership applications may be downloaded here ( membership form) or they may be picked up at Scuba Station.
Anyone is welcome to attend Fernandina Beach Dive Club meetings. 6 – 7 pm is typically “social hour” and a great opportunity to network with other local divers. The Club does provide a cooler, soft drinks, and munchies, but attendees are encouraged to bring beverages of their choice and a snack item to share with the group. At 7 pm any business agenda items, training and travel updates, etc., are discussed, usually followed by a diving related presentation. Presentations may consist of a slide show from a recent trip or class, or may be an informative discussion on wreck diving, fish ID, buoyancy techniques, etc. Meetings generally last until 8 pm.
Any questions regarding the Fernandina Beach Dive Club may be directed to Scuba Station at info@scubastationinc.com, or call 904-321-1770.
